Rebilling an Ontario Drug Benefit Rebill

Validation has been put in place to prevent rebills of Ontario Drug Benefit prescriptions that will be rejected; this applies to DB and TR claims. Once an ODB prescription has been rebilled on a date other than the fill date, it cannot be rebilled a second time - if you attempt to rebill the prescription a second time, the rebill will be rejected. The following prompt indicates when the prescription was originally filled and provides the option to refuse the prescription instead of rebilling a second time.

Press Yes to refuse the prescription; you can then refill the prescription to correct billing.

Press No if you do not wish to Cancel the prescription. The screen returns to Rx Detail. You can then save the prescription.
