Batch Processing for Blister Patients

Using the Groups module within PharmaClik Rx, it is possible to create a group for Blister patients and schedule the prescriptions to be processed as a batch. This is somewhat more advanced than regular prescription processing, but can ultimately save more time.

• For example, you can create a group for all patients who have their Blister prescriptions filled on Monday, another group for Tuesday's patients, etc...

When Blister prescriptions are processed in a batch, an option in the Batch Profile Label Request window allows a complete label set to print if the prescriptions are printed manually after the batch completes. Batched Blister prescriptions only print a File Copy when the labels are printed automatically with the batch. The manually print vs. automatically print setting must be selected at the time of scheduling the batch.
