Checking if a DIN is eligible for Enterprise

Aside from using the Drug Interchangeables window in Rx Detail, you can verify if a drug belongs to Enterprise by looking in the Drug Folder.

To view the Enterprise flag to verify a DINs eligibility for Enterprise, do the following:

1. Press the button.
2. Search for and select the drug.
3. Press the main tab in the Drug Folder, if it is not already displayed on the screen.
4. The Enterprise field is located on the right side of the screen.
   • If it says Primary, the DIN is the primary Enterprise selection.
   • If it says Secondary, the DIN is the secondary Enterprise selection.
   • If the field is blank, the DIN is not part of Enterprise, and if possible, should not be used when filling prescriptions.

At this point, you can also view if any of the drug’s interchangeables are eligible for Enterprise.

To view a DIN’s Enterprise interchangeables from the Drug Folder, do the following:

1. With the drug displayed in the Drug Folder, press the Alternatives tab.
2. All of the interchangeables are listed in the Interchangeables section of the tab. Using the horizontal scroll bar, scroll to the right side of the grid until the Enterprise column is displayed. The Primary and Secondary selections will be indicated in the column.
