Blocking McKesson Ontario Supplier Price Updates

Ontario pharmacies have the ability to block PharmaClik Rx's McKesson price updates. This flag is located in the Supplier Folder Preferences tab for McKesson Ontario. Any updates will still be downloaded to PharmaClik Rx, but they will not be applied. You can view the updates in Review Overrides and choose whether or not to apply them.

Note: When McKesson Ontario supplier price updates are blocked at the supplier level, it is not necessary to use the McKesson Block $ Updates flag in the Drug Folder.

To Block McKesson Ontario Supplier Price Updates:

This prevents PharmaClik Rx’s McKesson Ontario supplier price updates from being applied. You can review the blocked updates in Review Overrides and choose to apply them yourself.

1. Press the More > Supplier.
2. Search for and select MDS (McKesson Ontario).
3. Press the Preferences tab.
4. Select the Block PharmaClik Rx’s Supplier Price Updates checkbox.
5. Press the Save button.

To Automatically Apply McKesson Ontario Supplier Price Updates:

PharmaClik Rx’s McKesson Ontario supplier price updates are automatically applied to the Drug Folder. The updates will only be blocked for drugs that have the Block $ Updates flag set in the Drug Folder for McKesson Ontario. You can review the blocked updates in Review Overrides and choose to apply them yourself.

1. Press the More > Supplier.
2. Search for and select MDS (McKesson Ontario).
3. Select the Preferences tab.
4. Deselect the Block PharmaClik Rx’s Supplier Price Updates checkbox.
5. Press the Save button.
