Bayer Meter Reimbursement Program

The Bayer Meter Reimbursement program is a drug plan that will allow some Bayer Glucometers to be adjudicated online. This drug plan is available to all stores, and all claims made will be adjudicated through TELUS Health Assure.

Prior to filling a prescription for a Bayer Meter, you must ensure the patient's profile has the appropriate billing information.

To Enter the Bayer Third Party Billing Information:

1. Search for and select the patient you wish to enter third party information for.
2. Select the 3rd Party tab.
3. Select the Add button.
4. In the Bill Code column enter BA and select the Search button.
5. Select Bayer Meter Reimbursement and select the OK button.
6. The following information will display by default:
   • Relationship: Cardholder’s Last Name
   • Carrier ID: 80
   • Group ID: 500000
7. In the Client ID field, enter the last 10 digits of the serial number from the meter warranty card, omitting all dashes and spaces, and adding 01 at the end.
8. Select the Save button.
