Scanning Third Party Cards in the 3rd Party Tab

The Third Party Benefit card imaging provides the ability to link a scanned image of a patient’s original benefit card to the patient’s third party plan information in PharmaClik Rx.

To scan a Third Party card in the 3rd Party tab in PharmaClik Rx:

1. Search for and select a patient.
2. Select the 3rd Party tab.
3. Highlight the third party that the scan will be attached to.
4. Select the Scan Card button.
5. Set the paper guide to feed straight through (if required). This is done by ensuring the back panel on the scanner is flipped up.
6. Feed the document into the document scanner.

Result: The Third Party Benefit card will now be linked to the patient’s third party plan in the 3rd Party Tab.
