Sending a Notification to the Patient (Prescription Ready for Pick Up - TP + Patient Pays)
Once the diem® premium care app prescriptions are completed and ready to be picked up you can send a notification to the diem premium care app to notify patients that their prescriptions are ready for pick up, as well as how much the third party plan has paid for and the remaining amount the patient owes.
Note: You can also send a notification to the patient that excludes the amount the third party plan has paid and the outstanding amount the patient owes (Rx Ready > Rx Ready Only). For detailed instructions, see Sending a Notification to the Patient (Prescription Ready for Pick Up - Rx Ready Only).
This is done through the Rx Ready > TP + Patient Pays function in PharmaClik Rx.
To send notifications to patients from PharmaClik Rx informing them that their prescription is ready for pick-up, as well as how much the third party plan has paid for and the remaining amount the patient owes to the diem premium care app:
- In the Completed tab, highlight one or more prescriptions with a red W.
- Select Rx > Rx Ready > TP + Patient Pays. The PharmaClik Rx - Question window opens.
- Select Yes to proceed sending a notification.
Result: Notification is sent to patient in the diem premium care app. In PharmaClik Rx, the W indicator will change to green when the prescription has been sent (in the Completed tab).
If the Rx Ready notification is not sent from PharmaClik Rx to the diem premium care app, the prompt below will display:
Note: Prescriptions ready for pick up notifications can only be sent once per day if the patient has not picked up their medication(s).
