With COVID-19 top of mind, the health of our customers and colleagues is paramount.  PTS remains committed to helping you keep your TD Merchant Solutions devices clean and functioning and being available to support you when you need us.  We want to reassure you that we have robust business continuity plans in place, and we have a team dedicated to keeping on top of developments and responding as required. 

TD is actively monitoring and assessing the evolving health risks posed by COVID-19. We are implementing plans across the bank to address potential developments, maintain business continuity and essential banking services, and keep our employees and customers informed.  We are closely following guidelines and updates from public health organizations, including the World Health Organization, Health Canada and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

 

Cleaning your TD Devices

For point-of-sale devices at your location(s), the guidelines below from our device manufacturers can help keep your devices clean while protecting the functionality:  

  • Clean regularly using disinfectant wipes without bleach or high concentrations of alcohol (i.e. Lysol wipes)
  • Avoid excessive amounts of any liquid on the devices.
  • Do not use disinfectant sprays directly on the devices
